Honeycomb Dog Grooming started out as a Mobile Dog Grooming Service in May 2007. For the last two years the business has steadily grown and expanded until earlier this year it became apparent that I now needed a more permanent base to work from. Due to a high demand for my grooming services I had to close my books to new clients in the earlier part of 2009, it was due to this that I started my search for premises of which I could possibly use as a dog grooming salon.
After a very short time I found what I hoped was the perfect place for me to have my new dog grooming salon. Plans were made and desgins drawn up and it was with great pleasure that in May 2009 I recieved the news that I could indeed turn this particular unit into a dog grooming salon!
Work started immediatly and on the 6th July 2009 I moved into the salon.

The entire salon has been purpose built with YOUR pets comfort in mind to ensure a pleasent and relaxing enviroment for their grooming. This inclues no cages, instead we have specially designed dog playpens for your dog to wait in should they be finished before your return. The design of these dog play pens allows the pet to see me at all times meaning they are never 'shut away' or left alone out of view at any time.

 

We at HoneyComb Dog Grooming are well aware that leaving your pet to be groomed can be a stressfull experience for you as the owner. Becasue of this we have a relaxing and comfortable reception area that you may wait in for your pet while he or she is groomed. Because the whole salon has been designed to be open plan this means you can see your pet the whole time they are being groomed . However you may also leave your pet with us while they are being groomed, and as the salon is only minutes away from the town centre, a swimming pool and gym and also numerous cafes and larger stores including a Jolleyes Pet Store there is plenty for you to do while your pet is being pampered.

 

All breeds of dogs are welcome at HoneyComb Dog Grooming , this includes the larger breeds of dogs with the salon having a purpose built shower and low grooming table to allow easy bathing and grooming of any larger breeds.

We also welcome cats and have even been known to groom rabbits too!
